Swing range
Full span between the last confirmed swing low and swing high.
The full span between the last confirmed swing high and low. It is the shared basis for Range halves, Range midpoint, Optimal retracement zone and Golden retracement zone.
Swings are walked in confirmation order, not chart order: the span a trader had is the one that was knowable then. The complete high-to-low range is drawn in a neutral color. It does not imply a direction or entry.
If one candle qualifies as both Swing high and Swing low, OHLC data cannot tell which extreme came first. The range remains available for its midpoint and halves, but directional OTE and Golden zones wait for an unambiguous leg.
A confirmed swing low above the last confirmed swing high is no span at all. That pair is dropped — and the range it would have replaced ends there, at the moment that swing became knowable. Until the next valid pair confirms there is no range, and the halves, midpoint and retracement zones end with it. They no longer keep pointing at a span price has left.

Neutral: Swing range / Swing-Spanne. ICT: Dealing Range, short DR. Premium/Discount, Equilibrium, OTE and Golden Zone are separate rows in the same product category.
Settings
Swing method defaults to N-bar fractal with lookback 3. Williams fractal and ZigZag are available too; ZigZag uses a reversal of 0.005 of price by default. Lookback only applies to N-bar; ZigZag reversal only applies to ZigZag.
Selecting a derived range concept computes this source with that row's swing settings but does not draw the Swing range itself. If this source row is also selected, its settings take precedence and matching controls in dependent rows become read-only.
