Spinning Top
A small body with wicks on both sides.
A visible body — not a vanishing one — with a wick above and below. Unlike a Doji, the body has to be large enough to count. Knowable on that candle’s close. An event — no end.
A spinning top has no direction, whichever colour the small body has. The marker sits above the candle in the neutral colour, not as a buy or sell reading.
Settings
Minimum body, Maximum body and Minimum wick are fractions of the
bar’s range (defaults 0.1, 0.4 and 0.2). Minimum wick asks it of each
side and tops out at 0.45, the same ceiling
Long-Legged Doji has and for the same
reason: two wicks and a body share one range.
