The APO (absolute price oscillator) is the fast exponential average minus the slow one, in price units. It is its own pane under the candles. A dashed line sits at 0.

Defaults are 12 and 26. Above zero the fast average is above the slow one. Crossing zero is a common read, not a signal by itself.

Where the close finished inside the bar, smoothed over the lookback.
