Zone overlap
Broken impulse zone and gap sharing a price span.
A Broken impulse zone and a Price gap in the same direction overlap in price. The intersection of the two spans is the zone.
Knowable as soon as the later of its two inputs is. It has a lifetime of its own: it lasts until price comes back into the overlap band, even if the gap that formed it is touched earlier. Since a broken impulse zone also counts a zone that held once and was closed through later, the overlaps it forms are more common than the name suggests.
Names
Neutral: Zone overlap / Zonen-Überlappung. ICT: Unicorn Model, short Unicorn (also Breaker + FVG).
Settings
No own sliders — change the upstream Impulse zone and Gap settings if you need different numbers.
