MACD
MACD pane — difference of two EMAs, its signal line, and the histogram.
MACD measures the gap between a fast and a slow EMA of closes. The pane shows three plots: the MACD line, a signal line (EMA of the MACD), and a histogram (MACD minus signal).
Defaults are 12 / 26 / 9 (fast, slow, signal). The scale is open — no fixed bounds.
When the MACD line rises above the signal line, the histogram turns positive; the reverse turns it negative. On a flat market all three stay at zero after warm-up.
Settings: gear on the pane bar — see Indicators.
