Dark Cloud Cover

A bearish close through the prior midpoint that does not engulf.

Two candles: a bullish body, then a bearish close through its midpoint that stays inside that body. Opposite of Piercing Line. Knowable on the second close. An event — no end.

Settings

Minimum penetration of the first body (default 0.5) and First candle minimum body as a fraction of its range (default 0.25, the same as Bearish Harami). Without the minimum body, piercing the midpoint of a body that is only noise counts too.

Piercing Line

A bullish close through the prior midpoint that does not engulf.

Bullish Harami

A smaller bullish body inside the prior bearish body.
