Wick zone

A swing whose candle is mostly wick: price was there and was turned away.

The wick alone is only a shape. The candle has to be a confirmed swing and the wick has to point the way the swing does — up at a high, down at a low. A long upper wick at a swing low is noise.

Names

Neutral: Wick zone / Docht-Zone. ICT: Rejection Block, short Rejection.

Settings

Minimum wick is a fraction of the candle range (default 0.5 — half the range must be wick). Swing method defaults to N-bar fractal with lookback 3. Williams fractal and ZigZag are available too; ZigZag uses a reversal of 0.005 of price by default. Lookback only applies to N-bar; ZigZag reversal only applies to ZigZag.
