Bullish Harami Cross

A doji completely inside the prior bearish body.

Two candles: a bearish body, then a body small enough to count as a doji, completely inside it — including the limiting case where the inner bar’s open and close land on the same price, which is the textbook picture. Body-in-body, not wick-in-wick. Knowable on the second close. An event — no end.

The same bars are also a Bullish Harami: the cross is the narrower reading of the same shape, not a different one. The mirror image lives under Bearish Harami Cross.

Settings

First candle minimum body and Inner candle maximum body are fractions of each bar’s range (defaults 0.25 and 0.05).

0.05 is the same number Doji uses: the “cross” in the name means the same doji that concept marks.
