Bullish Kicker

A strong bullish body that closes through the prior bearish open.

Two strong opposite bodies: a bearish bar, then a bullish bar that closes through the first open. Textbook kickers also gap. On perpetual futures every bar opens at the prior close, so the gap is dropped — the opposite close is the rule. Knowable on the second close. An event — no end.

Settings

Minimum body is a fraction of each bar’s range (default 0.45).

Tweezer Bottom

Two consecutive lows inside a fraction of the candle range.

Bearish Kicker

A strong bearish body that closes through the prior bullish open.
