Ladder Bottom
Three falling bears, then a bullish close through the last open.
Four candles: Three Black Crows, then a bullish close through that last open. Opposite of Ladder Top. Knowable on the fourth close. An event — no end.
Four candles, not the five in Nison's books: the classic form ends in a fourth bear with an upper wick and a fifth bull that gaps up. Perpetuals never gap, so the fourth candle here stands in for both — the reversal is the close through the third open, and no wick is required.
