Workspaces and views
Your trading window — tabs, workspaces and tools.
The desk is a single window per workspace. You switch content with tabs. New tabs you can add today are Surface (charts and matrix layers) and Watchlist. Optional Tools sit in a right rail when you need them.

Adding and closing tabs
Hover the tab strip and click + to add a tab: Surface or Watchlist. A new Surface is one chart without an indicator. Click × (or middle-click) to close a tab. At least one tab always remains.
Charts and the matrix belong inside a Surface (chart layout, then Indicator → Matrix). Standalone Chart, Matrix and Orderflow tabs are not offered in the add menu.
Tools
In the window header, Tools shows or hides the side rail. Next to it sit refresh (reloads the active tab — charts, matrix and feed subscriptions start over), light/dark and fullscreen. Drag the thin separator to resize the rail. The dock holds the Watchlist and Concepts tabs — see Watchlist and Concepts.
On a narrow screen the rail does not squeeze the chart: Tools opens as a sheet over the view (backdrop or × to close). Same Watchlist and Concepts tabs — not a separate mobile theme.
What each tab remembers
Every tab keeps its own settings — the symbol and interval of a chart layer, the exchange and sorting of a watchlist. Two Surface tabs can therefore watch two different setups, and switching away and back does not reset anything.
These settings travel with the workspace: they survive a reload, and while you are signed in they follow you to another device.
Workspaces
The footer holds your workspaces. Click a name to switch. A new account (or an empty desk) starts with one workspace and a single Surface tab — one chart, no indicator. Hover + to add another: same setup, with the Tools rail already open. With more than one workspace, hover a tab and click × to remove it (or middle-click the tab). At least one workspace always remains.
Each workspace keeps its own tabs. Signed-in layouts sync with your account; see Account & workspaces.
Workspaces stay warm in the background by default: charts, surfaces, tools and the watchlist keep their place, so switching back is instant. Tabs inside a workspace stay warm the same way — switching Surface / Chart / Matrix does not reload them. Reload remounts only the tab you are looking at. Hover the workspace tab’s ▾ (the menu opens upward) and uncheck Keep workspace mounted if you want that workspace to unload when you leave it — useful for a heavy second desk. The workspace you are looking at is always mounted.
A hidden watchlist (other Tools tab, tools closed, or a warm workspace in the background) keeps its last rows and does not refresh until you show it again. Chart feeds on a warm background workspace keep running. Live updates pause only when the browser tab itself is in the background.
Help
The book icon in the footer (between Feed and your account) rolls the handbook down over the desk (search and sidebar included). Close it from the handbook header or press Escape to roll it back up — Escape does not leave fullscreen. You can still open the handbook in a new tab from that header.
Light and dark
The theme control sits in the window header, next to fullscreen. The choice is remembered.
Account
The user icon in the footer (next to the handbook) opens your account menu (profile and sign out). Desk language is under Language in that profile.
