EMA

Exponential moving average — closes weighted toward the recent bars.

The EMA (exponential moving average) weights recent closes more heavily than older ones. It sits on the price scale as one line and reacts faster than an SMA of the same length.

Default length is 20. Colour is automatic unless you pick one in settings.

Traders often compare price to the EMA or stack several lengths (for example 20 and 50). A flat market keeps the EMA on that flat price.
