KAMA
Kaufman adaptive moving average — follows trends and slows down in chop.
The KAMA (Kaufman adaptive moving average) speeds up when closes trend in one direction and slows down when they chop back and forth. It sits on the price scale as one line.
Default length is 10. That length is the window used to judge how directional the move was. Colour is automatic unless you pick one in settings.
A rising KAMA means the smoothed closes are climbing. In a clean trend the line hugs price; in a noisy stretch it barely moves. Price crossing the line is a common read, not a signal by itself.
