Williams %R shows where the close sits inside the recent high-low range. −100 means the close is at the lowest low, 0 means it is at the highest high. It is its own pane under the candles.

Default length is 14. Dashed levels sit at −20 and −80. A market with no range shows 0.

Near 0 the close is at the top of the recent range; near −100 it is at the bottom. Crossing a level is a common read, not a signal by itself.
